<x-flowed>Spray carb or brake cleaner with a nozzle is great for
cleaning these out after the big chunks have been
removed mechanically (small nail, dental scraper, whatever)

HOWEVER - Wear goggles, and a face mask, as it is
guaranteed that the stuff WILL aim for your eyes.
