I had dual stock solexs on my 64 notch for 4 years of ownership. An 09 with a petronix solid state points. I only checked the carbs during regular maint cycles. Cyncing carbs and maintaining the linkage is as difficult to do as changing a tire once shown. I drove that car up and down the I 5 on the west coast of the US with out any trouble ever. And I do remember passing other T3s (read Late FI) a couple of times. So ha!
