Well I just got back from purchasing some parts for the fasty, I have the foam for the oil cooler and sine I have it out I went and got some new "green 10x8 mm oil cooler seals" to replace my old ones. I tried getting a second Idle cutt-off jet but the one they had was definitely not NOS or even german brand plus the washer and o-ring were not on it so I passed on it. I figured I have driven the Fasty for nearly 11k with out it what is a few more k's. Would you guys believe that so far no VW part store in my area stocks thermostats for my engine, everyone of them I have spoken to has told me that since it does not get cold enough here in Az I should just take it off and leave the cooling flaps wide open. Everett where did you get yours? I will try to get the foam and cooler installed tomorrow and give it a spin to see what kind of improvement I get.
