You mean you have NO rubber gasket under the sender? If not, you need to be really careful until you get one in there. Certainly you should not fill up the tank at all. The black rubber ring gasket is the same as on a beetle, so you should be able to pick one up locally. If not, I have good used ones.


Yes. My car still occasionally surprises me. My tank has never had more than about 5 liters of petriol in it since I've had the car. There's no smell of petrol. However, since I plan to return the car to the road really soon, I would very much like to get the gasket in there.
