$7500 for two cars. Its actualy not that bad to me for their age, color and types. I think if the rot is not that bad and you can get them running(gamble as you dont know whats wrong) then they will hold if not pass a $3500 investment value. BUT if you have to take away from their OEM value like new paint to cover repairs and carpet to replace whats gone, ect then they start to loose value to me at least. They havnt sold because they have issues. A dicey proposition when you can actualy see the car. A total gamble when its across the web! I would ask him for MORE detailed pis in better light and a high res camera before I plunk down any money or make a decision. If he dosnt want to do that basic request then the seller may be fishy. Actualy he lives in Arizona, ask him how he can get the cars from Germany. Details, details! Call him and chat about the cars. After you collect all this info you can make a choice that is better educated than an emotional one that might piss off your wife! jason ----- Original Message ----- From: "Mike Harper" <mharper7@telus.net> To: "type3 mail list" <type3@vwtype3.org> Sent: Thursday, March 18, 2004 5:33 AM Subject: [T3] Check these two out > http://www.thesamba.com/vw/classifieds/index.mv?alert+200403161050577430 > > Has anyone seen these two beauties.
