I believe it was Jim or Russ that suggested that really none of them will work at this point because the resistance would be way too high (oxidization or something over time?)... Also, the repair kits were kind of a YMMV, depending on how nice you can make it look, and whether or not it was worth it to re-stripe the whole grid... That said, if you try it and get it to work, please let us know! I sure would like to have mine functioning... Not that I seem to need it really. I'm surprised how clear the windows stay in the Square. My Jetta was much worse, and my Subarus are too...
