So it sounds like there is no reason to save the original...but I should try to save the original seal? I guess maybe I should ask-if I go to get the windshield replaced, how do I make sure they are doing a good job, or using the best seals etc. I have no idea how this stuff is done. And If I am trying to save the original seal-should I have them re-use it? I would think a newer seal would have softer rubber and would therefore seal better.
