The ad said that the car is a 69, so it should have all the fuel parts behind
the door. I had thought about doing that to my 65, especially after reading
your safety FAQ that you wrote for vwtype3.org's web site.

How hard would it be to cut a 1.25" x 2" rectangular hole for the wrap around
turn signal? I know it would be easier than it was filling 2. Also, since the
car is in Germany, it could also have gotten the wrap around lenses, couldn't
it? Someday, I'd like to add a set of those early wrap around lenses to my 71.
