Check the cap to make sure that the carbon brush in the center is there and 
spring loaded. Try a different rotor. All parts should be genuine Bosch.

Check the resistance of each wire, including the one from the coil to the dist. 
The SP wires should have ~1000 Ohms each, including the SP connectors where the 
resistors are. The rotor should have ~5000 Ohms from center to end. The coil 
wire should have ~zero Ohms, unless it has that big black resistor connector on 
the coil end, which I can't ever remember (something between 1000 and 5000 
Ohms.)
