In my 71 Notch I barely have enough space for a modern stereo and it is currently mounted at an angle (I would say almost 45 degrees, but I could be wrong). If it wasn't at that angle it would not fit, the rear of the stereo would hit the fresh air box. I am currently looking for free time so that I can fab a center console.
