Yes, I've got a NOS set of those somewhere, and there were some already on the
Fastback caps too.
I don't get the problem very often - it's probably also an indication of tired
ignition components (eg cap surface denaturing) or battery getting a bit old.
WD40 spray or hair-drier or a few minutes with a charger will usually sort it
anyway.

I see that the bulletin from Russ also suggests a voltage drop relay for the
coil, energised from the starter motor to operate just for starting, which would
do much the same as having the red coil.
