It will slowly discharge as time passes, but doing what you've done is 
generally just fine. I've done it many times, in fact, most of the time I don't 
even disconnect it. 

It may have some trouble starting the car come spring, but if you charge it, it 
should be fine. It will be somewhat sulfated, but this will go away with 
regular use over time. If you're concerned, you could just put a charger on it 
once or twice over the winter to peak it up, but this is really not necessary.
