Sounds like a real dog of a setup. Ive had other people with Weber 34's on stock engines with the same complaints... I dont think the Webers are a good match for our engines torque curve. Before you mess with the carbs though, get the 009 off there! There isnt a worse choice for this application. Stick an early FI distributor on it, dont use the vacuum (yet) and time it for stock spec, and see how it feels. Keith > Was hoping for a bit of help here.
