I would love to have this manual in my collection. As a matter of fact, if I had this manual from the outset, I wouldn't require a "collection". That's my quandary, it's crazy expensive. What does one of the original's go for on ebay?

Originals are generally in the $150-$250 range for both volumes, and since they're loose-leaf there's always the possibility that some pages or sections are missing. Bentley already offers reprints of the workshop manuals for Type 1 (1952-57, 1958-61. 1962-65) and Type 2 (1950-1962, 1963-1967) which also retail for $109, so they're not likely to offer the Type 3 one for less. Yes it's a lot to pay but we're also talking about high quality large format 1200-page reprints. I think it's worth it, I'd buy one.
