[T3] Pan repair...maybe you should just swap!

A lady from Seattle *really* wanted to replace a section of her pan and said
the rust wasn't that bad,
even though the battery was resting on a piece of plywood.

So Martin asked if I wanted to do it and I agreed. I really wanted pictures
because I wanted to see how deep I was getting myself into. He couldn't get
any from her but she said it wasn't bad so I agreed.

When Martin dropped the car off at my garage this is what I saw:

Well, 1155 minutes later (about two days...I was being paid by the hour) I had
the 'new' section in:

What a job! Actually, after looking over her pan and seeing the driver side
passenger area ready to go, a pan swap would've been a faster and less
expensive way to go. Next time...

Anyway, lesson learned, never trust what the customer says because they really
don't know, nor have the experience, about what body work is needed.

Well, I'm happy with the graft and the job is something I am proud of. I know
it'll outlast the rest of her pan.
