It will probably be fine, but you either have a VERY stiff old bellows, or you 
need to work on being a little gentler. It's probably the former.

When you straighten it out again the cracks will probably all pretty much close 
up, but you'll want to keep an eye on them in case they slowly elongate due to 
engine vibration. Fortunately, replacement bellows are readily available. I 
have them if you need one.
