Nothing is stainless as far as headlight rings are concerned. The difference is that Nickel Chrome over steel will rust right away, add Copper and it wont. unfortunately copper is $$. alot of Chrome is actually aluminum... In fact the only stainless I can think of is the outside mirrors. I have stainless trim on the Notch, but its aftermarket. Keith > A lot of the aftermarket "chrome" is actually stainless steel.
