Look at the piston retaining plates in the photos. These are type 1 Ghia 
calipers. They have 40 mm pistons instead of 42mm pistons. I suspect that ATe 
is no longer making the correct calipers for our early type 3s, so they are now 
selling the type 1 calipers to fit both. They will give approx 10% less braking 
force than the correct type 3 calipers.

I wouldn't use them, except in a type 1.

ISP has been selling these for type 3s for a long time now. I'm disappointed 
that they don't know the difference. I've even exchanged emails with them on 
this, but they can't seem to think any farther than the fact that they have the 
right part # on the box....
