These are type 1 Ghia calipers. They have 40 mm pistons instead of 42mm pistons. I suspect that ATe is no longer making the correct calipers for our early type 3s, so they are now selling the type 1 calipers to fit both. They will give approx 10% less braking force than the correct type 3 calipers. I wouldn't use them, except in a type 1. ISP has been selling these for type 3s for a long time now. I'm disappointed that they don't know the difference.
