hi the bn4 has come out of a 181 (thing) they were also fitted in typ2 i have one fitted under the front of my sqr and it is my only form of heat in my car!!! it has got down to -15 this year not as cold as last year but still cold none the less i drive all year round in my sqr i will soon be removeing the bn4 and fitting a b1l c these heaters are much smaller lighter and still pump out some serious heat they are a lot less labour intensive and are not fussy if you dont start them all year and just go for it in the winter!! but the sound practice of running your heater even during the summer is a good one . there are some rules her e in germany what happens is after 10 years when you have a stand heater fitted it must be fully checked out and re certified by a proffesional! now some people cannot be bothered and just sell them the prices your looking at so far will buy a couple of decent bn4s or ba2 heaters over here. these things facinate me in a big way and i truly have a soft spot for all things eberspacher i have a lot of spare parts horded for a rainy day in my celler but bits really are not difficult to get a bn4 works well in a sqr but could be way to much in a fasty or a notch here the smaller heaters would be sufficiant. neil verdon 66 sqr on irs 2.2 typ4 bn4. german looker. porsch c2 alloys in the spring! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org
