Just buy good quality 5/16" fuel hose. Goodyear is a common brand these days.

Install the pump and tank separately. The pump is hard to get into place right, 
so I'd do that first. That way you would have access from both the top and the 
bottom.

You can plumb the lines to the tunnel first and then attach the lines to the 
tank after you install the tank. 

Take care with all the hose routings. Avoid sharp bends and make sure there is 
no tendency to kink. Get all this worked out before you install the tank.

One more thing: If you use the worm gear hose clamps, DON'T overtighten them. 
They just have to be slightly snug. Overtightening is hard on the hose and is 
actually more likely to make them leak.
