Okay, in that case I think the only thing I can say with certainty is that the 
MC will be a type 3 MC only.

If you're just trying to figure out how/where to get replacement parts, your 
best bet is often to rebuild rather than replace. The rubber parts in brake 
components tend to be rather generic, so all you need to do is find a rebuild 
kit with the right style and diameter and they will fit. There can be subtle 
differences in style, but, for example, you can usuallly use the rubber parts 
from a 3/4" beetle MC repair kit to rebuild a 3/4" type 3 MC, as long as you 
stick to the same brand of MC.
