Okay, in that case I think the only thing I can say with certainty is that the MC will be a type 3 MC only. If you're just trying to figure out how/where to get replacement parts, your best bet is often to rebuild rather than replace. The rubber parts in brake components tend to be rather generic, so all you need to do is find a rebuild kit with the right style and diameter and they will fit. There can be subtle differences in style, but, for example, you can usuallly use the rubber parts from a 3/4" beetle MC repair kit to rebuild a 3/4" type 3 MC, as long as you stick to the same brand of MC. -- Jim Adney jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, WI 53711-3054 USA ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org
