UPDATE: RE: [T3] Fuel coming from somewhere.


You guys like updates right? In either case I just wanted to voice my
thanks;   

It turned out that it was the FUEL FILTER *itself* that was leaking.
Gas was dripping from between the clear part and the little 'cap' on its
top.

Buddy of mine removed the filter, cut off the bottom connector, and used
it as an improvised adapter to fit the hoses together *without* the
filter. He said this would get me home and to the auto store to get a
new filter!

I love happy endings.  (Happy ending for now, at least!)

I never would have found that leak without your help! Thanks all!

Is this FI or carbs?

In most cases the problem is the same: Fuel hoses that are too old and
need to 
be replaced. Yes, it's much easier to fix them BEFORE the fire.   ;-)
