The relay just diverts the power in one direction or the other. Somewhere there is a break in your connections to the low beams. Since the power runs from the relay to the fuse box and splits there, I'd start with a voltmeter or test light and look for power at the fuse box and then trace it backwards to the relay. Since that is just one short wire, my guess is that one end of that wire has fallen off, or is connected to the wrong thing. -- Jim Adney jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, WI 53711-3054 USA ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
