Similar for me: My dad bought a '62 Corvair convertible new that I remember riding in when I must have been 4 or 5. Must have something to do with my owning a Type 34 Ghia today.


Did you know that they even made a Squareback Corvair? They must not have made
many; I only ever saw one of them.

It was called a Lakewood, made from like 1961-62. I considered buying one once but ended up with a '65 Squareback instead...
