If the person set his email program to enter his address in the "Reply to:" field, then your email program will see that and send it there. If that person didn't, then the list softward puts itself in that field. Apparently the list software is programmed to leave that header alone if it is already present. I removed that entry from my software for exactly this reason: I was getting too many replies directly to me. If you can get in the habit of glancing at the To: entry in your outgoing mail before you send it, you will catch these errors. -- Jim Adney jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, WI 53711-3054 USA ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
