YOu did a valve job, or valve adjustment?? It's a big difference.
Did you have the cylinder heads off the car???
If you just did a valve adjustment, are you sure you adjusted the valves
on #3 while you were on TDC #3?
If the noise sounds like it is coming from inside the engine, I would
suspect a problem with the piston or the connecting rod bearings.
