Didn't Squares get stiffer torsion and sway bars? Other than that are there any other differences? As a side question how does one tell the difference between the different torsion bars. Is there a different paint code, is the diameter different...or? I ask because I have a '68(?) replacement pan that was reclaimed from a wreck, by a dealership. And at some time in it's life the chassis # has been cut out. All I can tell is that it is a swing axle, (the sub frame could have been changed), has two fuel lines, and it still has the weird '68-'69 master cylinder. So my guess is '68, but which model? And no front beam Cheers, ===== John La Francois Blauvelt, NY '65 Notch S (Nubb) Awaiting rustoration '67 Beetle (Bubb) Currently under rustoration, by owner '98 Jetta GL (Wolfgang) Wife's Daily Driver Director: Lower Hudson VW Association http://www.geocities.com/lhva88 __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
