Re: [T3] Oil Light On

Check your manual, 30W is reccomended for the Summer. And with todays
technology, a 10W40 is ideal in the summer and gives you the benefit of
modern viscosity enhancers

I am running 20w for that reason

Oil presure light is measuing oil pressure... not temperature, and even
though the 2 are related you have no idea if the loss of pressure is
overheating or a worn or damaged engine. You need to take temperature
readings but basically, with a STOCK engine, if the cooling flaps are
opening fully, and your cooling ductwork (especially the intake boot) are
all intact, and the oil cooler and cylinders are clean its not going to
overheat.
