I would think you needed 40 or 50wt to keep the light off and raise oil
pressure. I wouldn't use 20 wt anywhere on the west coast  only in very
cold weather. Mine does the same thing. I wouldn't worry about it unless
it keeps flickering at above 900rpm.

Well it is finally getting nice and hot (about 80) here in dry and sunny

Arizona and while I was out and about yesterday I noticed once I got
back 
home that my "oil pressure" light was flickering on and off. I could
make it 
go off if I raised the RPMs from the 900s, I am running 20w for that
reason 
but it seems not to be enough, I drive the usual 65-75 mph.
