Greetings Type3 folks - first time posting. Car = 69 Square all stock 1600 with FI intact. Did a full tune up this weekend - plugs, wires, cap, rotor, points/condenser. Car runs beautifully down the road - however after this tune-up, the car runs rough when cold (like no choke). Once the car warms up its fine...just the first start in the morning when it idles rough. I can feather the gas pedal and raise the RPM and that helps smooth it out and warm it up...then it idles fine. I have a Bentley - and I've read the fuel section thoroughly - just seems that the manual tells you a lot about how to remove/replace parts but not what those parts do. Does the cold start valve provide a steady flow of extra fuel - or just one spray? Any thoughts would be much appreciated!
