I have a torque wrench, and I'm replacing the heads with new ones. I'm not looking to crack the case, since I have good oil pressure and the engine isn't all THAT old. Its burning/leaking oil because the car sat for a couple decades in someone's basement, and when I got it the motor was frozen. I was able to unfreeze it and get it running/driving, but I'm sure I broke or damage a ring in the process, not to mention any galling or rusting on the cylinder wall(s).
