If you go this route, make sure you have the red silicone spacer bushings 
too. Those are the key to using the plastic heater box tubes (BTDT). If I 
remember right, you'll need to remove about 3.5 inches off the plastic ones. Once you 
unscrew the end you'll see that the "inner" tube is like an expanded screen 
covered with a jute pad material. This pad material will need to be cut down 
too.  I hope this helps.
