Check the wires at the common ground that a number of FI wires come to under the breather. There should be one wire from each injector there and they will be paired up into 2 wires for each connector. Is there any chance that the one for the R cylinders has come loose, or broken off? If your car has the 68-9 FI (if someone switched it) then the injector ground wires connect to the top of the head. These often lose good electrical contact. -- ******************************* Jim Adney, jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, Wisconsin, USA ******************************* ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org
