I somehow missed the "running rich" bit the first time
I read this. Yes, it does sound familiar. I will go
over these connections once again, very carefully. Now
that I know I have a '72 harness it should be a lot
easier.

I'll leave it for now. All the other electrics work,
so it's doing its job. I can't believe people would
hammer connections on a battery terminal. How much
effort does it take to loosen it up to take it off?
