I don't like the idea of changing the whole roof section - are you sure it will be as strong as the original? The roll-over protection may not be as good as before. If you sell the car and someone else gets hurt, you might attract a large damages suit, and if you're the one who gets hurt, it may cost you even more. If part of the route will have to be using added bits of pipe, why not just fit the sunroof section and run the hoses all the way down the pillars. With the headlining off, you should be able to sort out a route as the roof side members have holes all the way along. Dave.
