[T3] Just bought my first Type 3.

Hi Guys,
having just got my first T3. I thought I'd check out the numbers.
I understand it to be a 1600TE Injection engine (single card in the centre)
but the engine number doesn't seem to show up on any lists that I can find.
It's U0500971. It also has a small plate just under the front lid (to the
left as you look at it) stating 19-4-3726. Can anyone shed any light please.
Sorry if this should be really obvious what with all the VIN discussions
going on but I'm a bit at a loss.
