You might have an early 65 built in late 64 that was registered in 64 in a state that decided it is a 64 when in reality it is a 65. California was good for this in the 50's and 60's. >I have had my Notch for 2 months now, and still can not verify which >model she is. She is a 1964 sunroof. The "S" was an upgraded version of the standard "N" model. >and she has knobs for the lights and wipers, no push >button console. Well, since we now know your car is a 65, then it should have the normal pull type switches, not the push button dash. >I read at www.type3.com that she may be a rare 1500 "E" >which is identical to the "S" but has a standard motor w/side draft >carb. I don't want to proceed with the car until I know. Anyone??????????? Does your car have dual carbs or a single side draft? This will tell you if its an "S" or not. I hope this helps.
