Hello all, Just got back from a trip and drove my 71 FI Fastback yesterday for the first time in a couple weeks. It seems to be having an odd problem. Whenever I'm at speeds above about 30mph, every 10-15 seconds it does this thing where it feels like the engine is missing really bad or something, acceleration suddenly stops and it makes this weird vibration that's like when the engine is lugging from being in too low of a gear (but it's not lugging at all, engine is usually between 2500-3500 rpm when it does it) It does it until I let off the gas suddenly and press it down again suddenly. I checked my FI and spark plug wire connections and they seem to be good. Does anyone have any idea what might cause this? Also, sometimes (but not always) the engine kind of "hunts" at idle, it loops from fast to slow, fast to slow, sometimes when it's cold the engine dies when it goes to the slow unless I hit the gas.... don't know if this is related or unrelated (seems it's done that for quite a while) Thanks!
