First off... NEVER EVER use starting fluid... unless you want your muffler blown off or worse,, that stuff is lethal!! You just need to take the FI one step at a time... its much easier to work out problems with it than with carbs once you learn a few basics. First off, there are only a couple things on these FI systems that will cause a no-start, no fuel pump, dirty trigger points, bad ground or bad head temp sensor. Check things one at a time... Have fuel pressure? Trigger points closing? Head temp sensor OK? Ill send you the FI FAQ if youd like.
