hello, How do you start a fuel injected engine with starter fluid? Believe me the FI system, once you get running is a good system over the orginal carburetor setup. Now having said this I don't wish to insult the people who own an use carburetors in their cars but just as a reminder that that was the technology at the time and please give it a try. This list can and will definitely help. Keep plugging away at it. dennis --- David Engle <fl1958ghia@yahoo.com> wrote: > Nope, but what does that do ? > > I got the relay to work by kicking it a few > times....with 12V that is. > > I then replaced the fuel filter near the fuel pump. > I > got one hell of a gas bath :( > > Now the damn thing doesnt seem to be getting any gas > (yes I put the fuel filter in the correct > direction). > It starts on starter fluid, but wont stay going. > > I HATE FI !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! > > David > > --- Russ wolfe <russella@prairieinet.net> wrote: > > On Sun, 2003-09-14 at 09:04, David Engle wrote: > > > How would I check to see if its working ok? > > (besides > > > find a new one) I ran a couple wires from a > > battery > > > to the fuel pump, so I know its working.
