So I wonder what happened to all those KPH speedos with a > few thousand KMs on them? I thought we figured out that VW made a transparent sticker that had Km/hr on it which was stuck over the face of the mi/hr speedo. That way all the owner had to do was peel off the sticker when he got home and nothing else had to change. This struck me as tremendously practical, plus easy and better for keeping track of the total mileage on the car. I'm pretty sure we had someone here who had such a sticker on a tourist delivery car. Of course, it's possible that VW hadn't come up with this clever solution in the early years. - Jim Adney Madison, WI USA ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org
