Doesnt look like there is, but I have ot examine it a bit closer. It actually looks a bit like the same material as what the front trunk liner is made of.


Which style are the panels to the sides of the back seat? It seems odd that they would mix panel styles in a single vehicle.


The panels to the side of the back seat are the regular types, just like in my 73 and probably all models in USA as well. Black armrests and ashtray on the right side. You can see them here:

Is this the way all the type 3 squares in Norway were?

I actually dont know, I dont see Squares that often (it's been a couple of years since last time I saw one, save for my two - I do see one '72 Fasty and one '67 Notch occasionally). My 73 has dark blue vinyl panels all the way, and I did see one late square once that had the plain no-vinyl covers all the way in the back. This car was a delivery car, same as the type 35, but with windows and no backseat.
