Unless they were made air-tight, like they came from the factory, they will corrode and probably give intermittent problems soon. Typical hand-crimped connections are not appropriate for automotive use. Solder any spliced connections. > I believe that these connectors can go on either > injector connection, right? The injectors will work with the wires going to either injector terminal. Do your wires still have the numbers printed on them near the terminal connections? If so, consult the FI wiring diagram in the FI section of Bentley. If the numbers are no longer there at the connector ends, you can figure things out by unplugging the wiring harness from the brain. You will see the wire numbers printed on them at the "brain" side. Use an ohmmeter or other continuity tester to figure out the numbering at the injector ends. -Mark Fuhriman '69 Fastback ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org
