OK, either I got a bum new master cylinder, or I'm just an idiot. No grey area. I put in a new master cylinder today and then bled the system. Pumped the pedal maybe 50 times for the first cylinder (right rear), then probably close to that for the left rear, then the fronts. Went through two containers of brake fluid and I am getting NO resistance at all from the master cylinder in the pedal. None at all. Could I have gotten a brand new bad master cylinder?
