Well, I finally managed to get it trough the tube. I it turns out that what I thought was the other end coming out was for the heater box vent. I have J tubes so it is just hanging there. What was blocking it was what looked like a piece of plastic sleeve from the old cable. When I pulled the spring like tube there it was. Anyway I got the new cable through but it is about 1.5 inches too long. Anybody know any tricks to hold the cable in place when the screw is going right on the cable itself instead of the ferule.
