well, i just set my tentative Invasion route. to do each direction in 5 days is going to take 11 hours a day (based on an average overall speed of 55mph--includes gas and rest stops). though this sounds rough, that leaves 5 hours a day to see sites (i.e. extra stops for cool stuff or the breakdown type thing) and 8 hours to get out of the cars and REST! i will be posting my route soon on my web site and will start looking for hotel or camping stops for the trip. see you in '04! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org
