I'm interested. My 73 slips on the upshift between 2 & 3 when I'm just giving 
it light throttle. If I hold my foot down this delays the shift to higher 
speed/rpms and the shift occurs smoothly. The good news is that it's done this 
since we bought it in '90 and it hasn't changed a bit in that time.

All the other ATs that I've driven don't do this and I've checked everything I 
can think of short of tearing down the whole transmission. I've even had the 
valve body apart and adjusted the bands. VM is the proper one, and is adjusted 
properly for a 73.

Everything inside looks clean and happy. Other than this one complaint, it 
works perfectly.

Any thoughts?
