I don't have all the data here, but my 71-74 Guesswork shows that type 1 final drive changed in 73. That was from 4.125 to 3.875 which was probably the change I remembered. Type 3 1st changed in 73 Type 3 3rd changed in 70 Type 3 4th changed in 70 These were all small changes, however, and the Bug may have changed identically. I know someone who put a Bug tranny in his square and noticed the difference.
