<x-charset windows-1255>Hi all, These two miscellaneous questions are unconnected but I couldn't see much point making two threads out of them. 1) Both the Hayes and Bentley manuals show "late-model" Type 3 steering columns with a three-spoke steering wheel. I've never seen any pictures of this kind of steering wheel in a car. Were they ever actually manufactured this way? 2) My 1969-model German VW price list shows that all VW 1600 Type 3 cars were available with two different engines; 45 and 54 HP, and two different trim levels, L and not-L. Every possible combination was available. What was the difference between the engines? Did the 45HP 1600cc engine have a single carb?
