I have tried everything possible, new coil, wires, points, I even ran a possitive lead from battery directly to the coil, WHAT GIVES???? Hate to admit I once made a stupid mistake but you might check this. Once I forgot to reinstall the rotor and of course the engine would not start. When I stepped back to get the big picture, I saw the rotor playing hid and seek in my tools.
